I’m Your Venus

Film Screening + Q&A with the Filmmaker + Venus’ family 

Friday, August 1st | 7PM (Doors open at 6:30)

Art House Productions, 345 Marin Blvd, JC

The Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy (JCLC) kicks off Jersey City Pride with a screening of I’M YOUR VENUS at Art House, followed by a filmmaker and Venus’ family panel discussion/Q&A.

The JCLC will donate 50% of the ticket proceeds to the Venus Pellagatti Xtravaganza House through Garden State Equality.

An exhibit celebrating Jersey City’s LGBTQIA+ history, featuring artifacts from 25 years of Jersey City Pride, Venus Pellagatti Xtravaganza and a special presentation of the Curious Matter Erasure Gallery project, featuring work by Raymond E. Mingst. 

A collaboration between MJCH and Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy.
