Join us in supporting the Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery with our newest walking tour on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 12-2pm. Enter a forgotten historic neighborhood — accessible only by two narrow truss foot-and-car bridges spanning a 200-year-old rail cut now used by PATH — to find quiet slopes and cul-de-sacs, no-outlet lanes, back alleys, and hairpin turns atop ancient rock formations, with each street lined with 19th-century townhouses, mid-century modern mews, white picket fences, and elevated gardens. Co-sponsored with the Historic Jersey City & Harsimus Cemetery, with 50% of tickets sales going to this vital grassroots preservation organization. $20 via our Eventbrite.
Note: This walking tour includes some steep street slope sections and uneven terrain in spots. Wear comfortable shoes, socks, and long pants, as we might encounter tall grass or over-growths along the edges of the district. Bring bug spray, sunblock, and a water bottle as there are no stores on The Island.
