Join the Jersey City Landmarks Conservancy for the Journal Square Walking Tour, a very special benefit event for the Museum of Jersey City History, Jersey City’s extraordinary cultural institution situated in the historic Van Wagenen House (aka “Apple Tree House”) in Bergen Square.
$50 via our Eventbrite, with 100% of ticket proceeds going directly to the museum to help sustain their mission of fostering “an authentic sense of community by sharing the rich and diverse history of Jersey City.”

Stanley Theatre, for a guided walk through the main lobby and balcony areas of this restored and adaptively reused 1928 movie palace;
St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, to view the world-famous mosaics and stained glass windows of this 1894 Richardsonian Romanesque Revival colossus;
Newkirk House, to experience the original timber-ceilinged rooms and stone walls of this rare, circa-1690 Dutch-era urban farmhouse;
